Our agency opened in 1979 as a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting disabled individuals' growth in critical life skill areas. We hoped to enhance their self-respect and independence while promoting their community acceptance. While we have gone through many changes over the years, our main goals have remained the same:

• To encourage independence and provide education for Resources for Living, Inc. consumers.
• To offer consumers the best possible opportunity to acheive a positive self-reflection and a sense of personal well-being.
• To help each consumer acheive their maximum potential in the least restrictive environment that nurtures self-respect, personal growth, and human dignity.
